Simple at first, just a little mobility and nothing more. But then a few months go by and you realise that you've been using that laptop quite a bit. The desktop suddenly seems a bit staid, you can't just put it in your pack and go. And then it dawns on you that you could do pretty much everything if you had one of those nice new PowerBooks. So you justify to yourself that the expense will be worth, hey just think how much more profitable you could be if you could work just anywhere. Of course by then it is too late, you've bought in hook line and sinker... there isn't any going back...</p> You see this is how it starts. Simple at first, just a little mobility and nothing more. I figure monitors are fairly cheap, so have one at home for spanning and one at your work location for similar real estate... simple.
